Ingredients
sandwich | 1/2 | |
slice whole wheat bread, toasted and halved | 1 | |
tuna | 1/4 cup | |
EVOO and lemon, or mayo | 1 tsp | |
chopped parsley or cilantro | 1 tsp |
The combination of a protein and a grain not only provide you with a complete protein but also keep you full for hours, so you are not tempted to skip out on your workout because you are too hungry … or too full.
- Take ¼ can of tuna and drain extremely well, add seasonings, lightly butter down your bread and add filling.
- Bag it up for a high protein snack or mini meal on the go.
