Own Your Beef Jerky

Al lot of your OTC jerkies are full of nitrates and nitrites, as well as preservatives and fillers. Making your own is not that hard. Here is a quick recipe for a real clean beef jerky which makes a great high protein snack.
- Spread parchment paper on a cookie pan, then spread out ground beef as thinly as you can, using a rolling pin, season it, and bake it as low as possible in your oven overnight or all day (12 hours).
- When done, slice it up into strips and place into baggies, then grab and go as needed.
